The task of promoting job listings is not often one associated with dignity, grace, and integrity, and yet Cameron Moll’s Authentic Jobs has been doing just that since 2005, and is arguably the most well-respected job board in the web design industry. Yesterday was a big day for Cameron and his team (which includes my good friend and frequent collaborator Ben Bodien), as they launched Authentic Jobs UK.

With the new site comes a new bunch of listing partners and I’m honoured that Cameron asked me to be one of them (you can see the listings in my sidebar), along with other good friends Jon Hicks and Sarah Parmenter. Cameron is an old-school web design hero of mine from back in the day, and my inner fan-boy is grinning inanely right now, especially as I’ll be joining these fine folk:

As Jon said, I’m always sending clients to Authentic Jobs when I can’t take on a project, so it’s a real pleasure to now be doing that officially. Although UK-based jobs have always been on the main site, I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s great that we’ve now got a dedicated space.

To celebrate the launch, Authentic Jobs UK is offering job postings for just £1 (instead of the usual prices of £169 (or £69 for freelance jobs and internships)), so if you’re in need of some extra hands, now would be a perfect time to put the word out! Oh, and merely tweeting about the launch gives you a chance to win an iPad 2 and Smart Cover. He’s a generous chap, that Mr. Moll!
