Hello, dear reader! Just a heads up that this article is deprecated and (probably) not worthy of your time. You are, of course, very welcome to read it — but I personally consider it to be outdated / irrelevant / embarrassing, and have removed it from my blog archive listings. Really, it’s only still here to stop old links from breaking. You have been warned!

A man after my own heart

I’m not sure how it’s taken me so long to stumble across this, but I’ll take this opportunity to make the most of it and praise the genius that is Bad Gas. Whoever wrote this article about the misuse of the English language should be knighted immediately. Please allow me to quote:

“If I were asked to compile a list of crimes in order of seriousness, starting with the least serious, it would go something like this:

- Speeding

- Shoplifting

- Burglary

- Assault

- Armed robbery

- Rape

- Paedophilia

- Murder

- Misuse of the English language

Enough said. Click here to read the entry in its entirety, and – if you’re like me (which, let’s face it, you’re probably not) – bow down and worship!
