After 3 weeks of constant rain, we decided to head south to Piran (on the south coast of Slovenia) upon the recommendation of our hosts near Lake Bled. This proved fruitful, and we’re now not quite as pale as before. ;-p Now we’ve made another unscheduled stop – this time in Verona, Italy, following a day in Venice. This wasn’t planned, but there were no hostels available in Geneva, so sadly we’ve had to cross Switzerland off our list. We’re spending today in Verona and then we’re off to Paris at some ungodly hour tomorrow morning… and then it’s home!
